About Us

Montana Screen Doors LLC began back in 1996.

Bob Graham, a skilled woodworker, was in the midst of building his dream home in Polebridge, Montana. Bob wanted to finish his cedar-framed cabin with a quality wood screen door that would let in the fresh mountain breeze and provide an unobstructed view of the Rocky Mountains. He was surprised by how few options there were for rustic log homes, and even more frustrated by the poor quality of the doors offered. Bob decided to make his own doors, knowing there must be other homeowners wanting to add a touch of charm to their doorways.

From there, you could say the rest is history. Bob and his wife, Jackie, grew the business to become an industry leader in design and manufacturing. His company was the first to introduce nature scenes in screen doors and popularize rustic door styles like our Three Trees design - copied by many, but never truly equal.

Wanting to retire, Bob and Jackie sold the business to the Mobley’s in 2017. Blake, Reid, and Wade shared Bob's passion for the outdoors by continuing to make the finest quality screen doors available. Based in Columbia Falls, Montana, the Mobleys loved being surrounded by the mountains, lakes and streams, the lush evergreen forests, and the unforgettable sunsets. They realized that not everyone has the pleasure of such a view, which is why they wanted to share a piece of their home through Montana Screen Doors. The impact that the Mobley's had on the business is an important one because they took the initiative to place Montana Screen Doors online in the world of eCommerce. Their vision to grow the company took off in 2019 and while they were accomplishing their goal, they were outgrowing their resources.

Chad and his family were enjoying all that Montana had to offer in exploring Glacier National Park during vacation. They fell in love with the grandeur and beauty of the area. In their travels, they stumbled across Montana Screen Doors and went inside. The Mobley’s were inviting and accommodating after learning of Chad’s business. A friendship was struck that resulted in a combined business venture: shipping Pine screen doors blanks for Quick Ship doors. The rest, as they say, is history. Montana Screen Doors fit so well with our current product offerings that it seemed fated that Chad should purchase the company when the opportunity arose.

After bringing Montana Screen Doors to Dubuque, we have carried on the same tradition of quality established with Old Goats. Our goal is to continue to offer more customization with our doors to ensure you are purchasing a Montana Screen Door that offers the style that you want.

We would love to help you “Let the Outdoors In.”
